Words of Wisdom From Rabbi Mel Glazer (who just moved to Florida)

Words of wisdom from the former Rabbi of Temple Shalom in Colorado Springs...he recently moved to Florida...

"The saddest thing about being in the path of a hurricane is the fear, the boredom of waiting for it finally to arrive, and the uncertainty about whether we lose power. And then there is whatever needs to happen after.
The heart-warming news about being in the path is watching all the first responders who give up their own safety to protect others, the friendliness of strangers to each other, the acts of loving kindness seen day after day.

What's the lesson? Evil comes into the world so that the good folks will arise and remember that God created each and every one of us in the Holy Image, and that nothing else really matters.
We will get through this, and then we will move forward.
Wouldn't it be nice of us to give our time, our concern and our caring for others BEFORE bad things happen?
And so may it be God's will.
Stay safe, my Friends, wherever you live."
